You can use ANY Sharpie paint pen color that will show up on your mug, but some colors will get darker after baking. You can also use this as an excuse to get away with using a black sharpie on any surface. Make sure you use brand new markers and keep them capped and away from water. Allow the Sharpie to dry on the tile for a day or two to help the ink set, then bake the tile in a preheated 250-degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Once your painting is complete and the underglaze is dry, brush on a clear topcoat and fire.
